Jack Scott, a 20-year-old defender, has been signed by Linfield, according to manager David Healy, pending the conclusion of international clearance procedures. Little over a week from now, when the transfer window opens, Scott will join the squad.

“I’m thrilled to notify our supporters that we’ve achieved an agreement with Jack Scott for him to join us on the opening of the transfer window in just over a week,” Healy said in reference to the signing.

Healy is certain that Scott’s inclusion will make the team stronger because he has seen Scott develop as a player throughout the course of his youth international career. Jack is a young kid who I know well from his playing career for the minor international teams, and I sincerely believe his addition will boost our squad, the coach stated.
