Details Emerge On Stephanie McMahon’s New WWE Role
During a conference call with investors, Vince McMahon outlined his daughter’s expanding role in the
organisation. Until now, Steph had been WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, but she has since assumed day-to-day
tasks formerly carried out by John Brody on top of that.
Basically, Stephanie is now in charge of managing the Global Sales and Partnerships division. Her main task
there is to oversee sponsorships and other corporate relationships for the company. That, it’s worth pointing
out, is in addition to her already-existing job.
The Q3 earnings call revealed that Steph has been manning this role since August – that’s when Brody
departed WWE. So, she’s several months down the line, and everyone seems happy with how things are shaking out.
This is yet another string to Stephanie’s bow. She and husband Triple H have become integral figures to
WWE’s daily running, and this is presumably another step towards the pair assuming full control someday.
For now, McMahon will continue to juggle global branding, sales and key partnerships with sporadic on
screen appearances as a TV character. Steph was wheeled out as the face of WWE’s recent 2020 Draft.
