JUST IN: Labour Party condemns Lawmaker-Elect Ogah for praising Tinubu.

Amobi Ogah, a Labour Party House of Representatives member-elect, has been chastised by the party’s leadership for his recent comments about President Bola Tinubu.

On Thursday, Ogah, the member for Isuikwuato-Umunneochi Federal Constituency in Abia State, expressed appreciation for Tinubu, saying he had no idea he was that bright.

The announcement was delivered immediately after the president met with the members elected to the 10th Assembly at the State House.

He stated:

“Today is the best day of my life.” I’m overjoyed to be an elected member after hearing my president speak. “In fact, I had no idea this man was so intelligent,” he remarked.

“I had no idea this man was so eager to serve his country.” I saw love, integrity, and charm — the conviction that Nigeria can be a great country.”

As a result, he promised his support to the president, stating that the interests of the country come before party loyalty.
