Arsenal is interested in signing Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze, 24, for the next season.

Arsenal is trying to recruit Samuel Chukwueze ahead of next season, according to Fichajes.

The 24-year-old winger has grown in stature over the last few seasons and is being tracked by several prominent teams throughout Europe.

Chukwueze has progressed through the ranks at Villarreal, reaching the first team in 2018.

He has appeared in almost 200 matches for the Spanish club and has scored over 65 goals.

In his 50 appearances during the most recent season, the 24-year-old scored 13 goals and assisted 11 others.

He was in red-hot form during the 2022-23 season, and several clubs are willing to go all-in for his services.

Chukwueze’s contract expires in the summer of 2024, and with only a year remaining on his contract, Villarreal may contemplate letting him depart for the appropriate price.

They wouldn’t want to risk losing him for free the next summer.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is looking to enhance his assault for next season.

And one of his top goals is to sign a new forward.

Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal is one of his new targets.

The Nigerian international can play on either wing and will help the Gunners score goals.

Chukwueze is worth roughly €50 million, and a price in that range may be enough to entice him away from Spain.
