28 Year Old Arrested For Supposed Hate Speech in Osun State.
Kehinde Adekusibe, 28, was detained by the Osun State Police Command for using derogatory language on the microblogging website Twitter.
Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Headquarters’ public relations officer, announced the arrest on his verified Twitter account, @Princemoye1, on Thursday.
The Osun Police Command has detained one Kehinde Adesogba Adekusibe, male, 28 years old, who violated the social media regulation on hate speech, according to a statement headlined “Osun Police Arrests Social Media User Who Tweeted ‘Let’s Kill All The Igbos.”

The State Criminal Investigation Department in Osogbo’s cyber crime division detectives “swung into action,” according to the Force PRO, and following an intelligence-led investigation, the suspect was apprehended in Ilesa, where he had been hibernating.
“The suspect has confessed to the crime, and he will be charged to the court after the completion of the investigation.
