Several residents and a pastor were kidnapped by a group of 30 gunmen, causing panic in Abuja.

Gunmen reportedly attacked the Bmuko community situated on the Dutse Baupma axis of the Bwari area council in the federal capital territory (FCT), Abuja. According to The Punch, the attackers were operating at around 11:50 p.m. on Monday, April 29. Isah, a resident, disclosed that the kidnappers, who were said to be more than 30 in number, stormed Zone C on Road 5 of the community, fired shots into the air indiscriminately, and forcibly entered the home of Engineer Patrick. Four people, including the engineer’s wife, brother, and pastor, were allegedly abducted.
