Tinubu removes military chiefs, the IGP, and the head of Customs, and names Ribadu’s replacement as NSA.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has authorised the immediate retirement from service of all Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, Advisers, and the Comptroller-General of Customs, as well as those who succeed them.

The newly appointed Officers are:

3 Maj. T. A Lagbaja Chief of Army Staff
4 Rear Admiral E. A Ogalla Chief of Naval Staff

7 Maj. Gen. EPA Undiandeye Chief of Defense Intelligence

Mr President has also approved the following appointments:

Finally, the President has accepted Adeniyi Bashir Adewale’s nomination as Assistant Comptroller General of Customs.

It should be noted that the appointed Service Chiefs, Inspector-General of Police, and Comptroller General of Customs are to act in their roles until confirmation in conformity with the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s Constitution.
