United are one of several Premier League clubs interested in Mount. Eric ten Haag is looking to add quality and depth to his midfield in anticipation of a potential title challenge. Liverpool has also expressed interest in the England international, but Sky Sports reports the Reds intend to move forward with a formal offer. However, their valuation remains well below Chelsea’s insistence on maximizing value, despite having just a year left on their deal with Mount. United are not willing to overpay the young Blue and has an alternative option in case they fail to score in the centre: Moisés Caicedo.
