Mateo Kovacic will have his medical at Manchester City today, according to Standard Sport. Chelsea are happy to sell their Croatian midfielder to the reigning Premier League winners since he only has a year remaining on his current deal and is unlikely to sign an extension. City has agreed to pay an initial cost of £25 million for Kovacic, which may rise to £30 million with add-ons. He has agreed to personal terms with the club and will have his physical today in Manchester.

Man Utd could hijack Caicedo deal

If discussions for Mason Mount fall down, Manchester United might sneak one over on Chelsea by signing Moises Caicedo. The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their midfield options this summer, with the England international mentioned as a potential target. United has already rejected down a handful of proposals.
