Legit made a press enquiry to Guinness World Records on Tuesday, June 13, in an attempt to obtain first-hand information on the incident.
According to the body’s answer, the chef did not seek their consent before commencing the cook-A-Thon since there are processes and guidelines that would have been issued to her to follow.
In response, Chef Dammy stated on her Facebook page that her 120-hour cook-A-Thon was meant to test her abilities rather than to break any records.
She was also ecstatic about accomplishing her goal and not giving up.
“I stated earlier that I embarked on this journey to test my capability, not for any GWR,” she added.
“I’m glad I cooked for 120 hours.” “I am proud of myself for never giving up.”
