Breaking: Gunmen Kill INEC Staff and Kidnap Wife in Southeast State

Mr. Emmanuel Igwe, an Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Staff, was reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen in the Ivo Local Government Area of the State.

The victim, an Assistant Electoral Officer in Afikpo North LGA, was attacked while returning from Abia State.

The victim’s wife was kidnapped as well.
