Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, had his Lagos residence destroyed by fire.

According to accounts, the entire facility was burnt to the ground with not a single pin recovered.

The mystery fire, which was reported to have begun from the roof, was purportedly preceded by some weird noises, which family members there originally mistook for domestic animals foraging.

However, minutes later, the structure burst in a ball of flames as members scurried to safety with only what they could carry.

According to reports, not even the quick arrival of members of the community and the fire department could salvage the situation.

None of the bereaved family members were prepared to speak to the press about the situation.

Comrade Joe Ajaero was away in Geneva at the time of the fire incident.

He has acted similarly cautiously since returning to the nation.
