Christmas: Where was it originated from?

We have being celebrating all sorts of celebrations because it is all about merriment and enjoyment, but we have never asked ourselves that “where did this celebration come from?” Or even ask ourselves that “what originated this celebration or did the celebration fall from the sky?”

Now let me come in to show you all some deep secret that you don’t know about that celebration called Christmas.

I’m sure that we have all been told that Christmas was the celebration of the birth of Christ, but actually that is not true. Christ came into physical existence in the New Testament, but do you know that the custom of Christmas was an heathenic pagan celebration, described in the old testament by Prophet Jeremiah?

I guess you don’t believe, so let me show you from the scriptures…

Jeremiah 10:1-5
[1]Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
[2]Thus saith the LORD, LEARN NOT THE WAY OF THE HEATHEN, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
[3]For the customs of the people are vain: for one CUTTETH A TREE OUT OF THE FOREST, the work of the hands of the workman, WITH THE AXE.
[4]They DECK IT WITH SILVER AND WITH GOLD; they FASTEN IT WITH NAILS AND WITH HAMMERS, that it move not.
[5]THEY ARE UPRIGHT AS THE PALM TREE, but speak not: THEY MUST NEEDS BE BORNE, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

This has been a custom by the heathens even from the time of the old testament, when the heathens (other nations who are not Israel) do their pagan customs and celebrations, in which Prophet Jeremiah make us identify one of it, which is the act of cutting trees from the forest, fasten it to the ground with nails as they erect it upright not to fall due to its weight, and they deck it with gold and silver (but nowadays our people tend to buy plastic trees, also having the gold and silver balls and some other props added to it for decoration).

So tell me, which celebration was described by Prophet Jeremiah here?

This is Christmas, but remember that Christ haven’t been born in the time of the Old Testament, to show y’all that Christmas is a pagan celebration and not the celebration of the birth of our Lord.

If Prophet Jeremiah can tell us about this custom as a worldly and pagan custom, so why are we not giving ourselves up to make research and know what we are celebrating?

Remember that both religion and these celebrations were given to us by the same Caucasians who enslaved us, enyoked us and even sold us, as they had great hatred for us, because I can remember vividly that millions of blacks died in the process of transporting them through ship to be sold to another slave master in another country, which made some to be thrown into the sea at some point.

So how can the same enemy give you a religion and celebration in which they never gave us the historical origin of these religions and even these celebrations and you never care to know where it all originate from?  Or can a known enemy of yours give you food and you don’t care but eat it, when you know that these person is capable of poisoning you due to the level of hatred which they had for you?
