Aisha Buhari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, and her daughter Hanan escaped death when the private jet they are traveling on lost control for about 10 minutes.

Returning to Nigeria on Friday after reportedly shopping in Dubai, the private jet with registration number GIV N52MK belonging to billionaire Mohammed Indimi lost complete control for 10 minutes while only one hour away from approaching the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

According to SaharaReporters, needed medical treatment and examination in the hospital after the plane safely landed.

The First Lady is said to be in good health, nonetheless.

Recall that Aisha Buhari had flown to Dubai for the purpose of shopping for luxury items in preparation for the wedding of her daughter, Hanan.

It was gathered that President Buhari had met with the family of Hanan’s fiancée for further arrangements and other processes forming part of the occasion to be put in place before the wedding.

A source disclosed that the First Lady had traveled under the guise of health emergency so as not to raise eyebrows for violating the restriction on a global flight due to coronavirus.

“It was well planned, her neck doctor is in London, not Dubai. She traveled to shop for luxury items ahead of Hanan’s wedding.

“There is presently a ban on international flights by the government except it is essential, so the best way for her to travel was under the guise of medical treatment,” the source stated.

The wedding is billed to take place on September 4, 2020, inside the Presidential Villa.
