Bill Gates, the American business magnate, said his 20-year-old youngest daughter, Phoebe, was delighted to meet Nigerian music sensations Burna Boy and Rema when he visits Nigeria.

The visit was part of the Gates Foundation’s commitment to collaborating with communities and leaders to foster innovation.

Gates revealed Phoebe’s delight at his vacation to Nigeria and the prospect of seeing Afrobeats musicians such as Burna Boy and Rema.

“When my daughter Phoebe found out I was going to Nigeria, she told me, ‘You’re lucky because you get to see Burna Boy and Rema, so I had to look them up…because I’m so ‘hip.'” But the last time I came here, I saw Davido and Wizkid perform,” the benefactor recalled.
