United can sign bargain striker
Manchester United needs a new center-forward for next season and might recruit one in the next 10 days for a cheap price of €5 million.
According to Sky Deutschland (via SportWitness), United is one of the clubs interested in Gambian center-forward Adama Bojang.
Erik ten Hag’s team, Eintracht Frankfurt, Racing Strasbourg, and another top-tier German club are all interested in the “miracle striker.”
He is presently a member of the Gambian club Steve Biko.
Sacha Empacher, the player’s agent, was interviewed by Sky Germany and made sure to extol the attributes of the adolescent.
“Adama is the best African player I’ve seen in the last decade,” he declared. “He has the makings of one of Africa’s great forwards.” In addition to Drogba, Eto’o, Salah, and Osimhen.”
Sky in Germany claims that a contract to transport him to Europe for the cheap price of €5 million should be finalised within the next 10 to 14 days.
Liverpool and Newcastle battle for ‘box office’ star
Premier League sides Liverpool and Newcastle United are both interested in signing Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram.
The 22-year-old is high on Jurgen Klopp’s engine room wishlist, with Naby Keita, James Milner, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all departing Anfield when their contracts expired this summer.
The kid is thought to want to transfer to Merseyside, but Magpies boss Eddie Howe is also interested, with Howe looking to add a “box office midfielder” to his squad this summer.
However, according to Football Insider, “the Reds are pushing hard to secure a full agreement” for the €40 million-rated phenom and “expect to complete a deal.”
Liverpool is also interested in Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch and Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.
He would be the Reds’ second acquisition of the summer, following Alexis MacAllister’s £35 million move from Brighton.
Arsenal in three-way tussle
According to French media, Arsenal is in a three-way battle for Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
According to L’Equipe, West Ham United and Newcastle United are also interested in signing the 24-year-old.
The Gunners’ pursuit of Declan Rice might have an impact on this tussle, with the Hammers captain their first priority this summer after signing Chelsea’s Kai Havertz.
Meanwhile, according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are in discussions to hijack the north Londoners’ pursuit of Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.
The Gunners have been working on a deal for “15 days,” according to Romano, but Liverpool are now in the running to get him.
Spurs pushing for Maddison
According to The Telegraph, Spurs have prioritised the acquisition of Leicester City’s James Maddison.
The Foxes were demoted last season and are unlikely to keep England international Maddison.
