BREAKING: The Federal Government has announced the start date for student loan disbursements.

The federal government has announced intentions to begin disbursement of student loans in September and October.

According to David Adejo, the Permanent Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Education, made the revelation during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday.

Responding to journalists’ questions, Adejo stated that the government is committed to providing students with interest-free loans. This initiative intends to assist students in their educational pursuits while also reducing the financial load connected with tertiary education.

President Bola Tinubu signed a measure allowing students access to interest-free loans into law on Monday.
