I Did Not Give Magu N75m, Lawyer Fatima Hassan Declared
A Nigerian lawyer Fatima Hassan denied having granted the interim chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, the sum of 75 million Naira.
Hassan revealed this when testifying before the retired presidential committee led by Judge Ayo Salami inside Aso Villa, as part of the ongoing Magu investigation.
The lawyer told the panel that the amount in question represents her legal/commission fees to help Donatus Wokoma unlock the N250m case with the EFCC.

She said she was unaware of the existence of “Magu Boys” and had never discussed a transaction with them.
She added that she never met Magu other than reading about him in the newspapers and watching him on television.
Magu is the subject of an investigation panel on allegations of mismanagement of assets recovered by the anti-corruption commission.
