Barcelona stars inspire Spain to victory over Switzerland in the UEFA Euro 2020

Barcelona football club stars Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Pedri were outstanding for Spain national team on Friday night, as they defeated Switzerland 3-1 via a penalty shootout to book their spot in the next round of the Euro 2020.

The trio were given another starting roles by coach Luis Enrique and they were able to play vital roles in the team’s deserved victory.

Sergio Busquets started in Spain’s midfield alongside Pedri and Koke, while Jordi Alba started in the defence line alongside Cesar Azpilicueta, Aymeric Laporte and Pau Torres and they were all impressive in the game.

Spain national team opened scoring through an own goal from Denis Zakaria, after he diverted Jordi Alba’s cross inside his net to end the first half 1-0.

Liverpool star Xherdan Shaqiri equalized for Switzerland in the 68th minutes to end the match 1-1, before Spain won 3-1 on penalty shootout.

The Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and Pedri were exceptional for Spain national team in the entertaining encounter and they were able to guide the team to victory.

The victory over Switzerland national team has now taken Spain to the Semi-finals of the UEFA Euro 2020.
